Humankind has been looking to the planets and stars for millennia, living in close relation. Only in the last centuries have we removed ourselves and looked at it from a purely intellectual perspective.

AstroSomatics is an invitation to come back into relation not only with us, but the world around us, including the celestial spheres and the rhythms of seasonal light. Astrology has always been a somatic practice, we just forgot. Living, too, has always been a somatic experience, somehow we just forgot. To be in relationship and community with everything around us is inherently somatic, we simply need to remember.

This practice invites us to go beyond the intellectual understanding of astrology and connect with it on a deeper, somatic level. It is a creative, experiential, and intuitive practice that offers a beautiful map for explorations.

This is what I call AstroSomatics.

By embodying the qualities of each zodiac sign and the corresponding systems, we gain a more profound understanding of ourselves and our place in the world. What does it feel like to embody Cardinal Earth or Mutable Water? How does the essence of Virgo resonate within you, and how does it relate to the specific house it occupies in your birth chart? What insights can we glean about our lives through the physicality of the muscles governed by Aries? These are the kinds of questions we explore.
